Yoga Classes on Pause
In light of the coronavirus outbreak and the recent announcement by the government to avoid ‘non-essential’ contact, I have decided to pause all classes for the time being. (To those of you hoping to attend a class at Castle Place this evening they are running classes and they are looking to have the class covered, but I will not be teaching.) Other venues have confirmed with me that they are suspending all classes effective immediately.
It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the pausing of these classes, as I know in uncertain and challenging times a yoga practice can be a comforting beacon of light. More than ever we may need to gently remind ourselves that having a regular self practice, whether that is checking in with our breath or a 5 minute meditation, may be the key we need to stay grounded. I am certainly going to be continuing my own practice to help keep me calm and to be accepting of our current situation. I hope we all can share kindness and compassion to all whether that is online or in person.
For anyone in Dursley Road or surrounding areas, or if anyone knows of anybody nearby that may need help, please let me know and I will do my best to help however I can.
Lastly, thank you all for attending classes, courses and workshops with me – I am looking forward to teaching classes again in the hopefully not too distant future.
May you be happy
May you be peaceful
May you be well
