Sun Salutation A Workshop

Sunday 26th May, 1:30-4 pm
Castle Place Leisure Centre, Trowbridge.
£25 per person (£5 deposit required when booking)

This workshop will focus on an essential part of any yoga practice; how to warm up the body efficiently and effectively with a series of poses collectively called Sun Salutations.

Learn how to lengthen and tone your muscles, create deeper flexibility, reduce bodily tension, and how to move in sync with your breath with this cardiovascular exercise. Each pose will be broken down, giving you the confidence to practice Sun Salutations safely at home or in your next class. We’ll also explore how to transition smoothly from one pose to the next as well as finding ways to modify poses to suit your body’s needs.

Find out how to strengthen your plank pose and learn how to love your downward-facing dog.

Suitable for those who have recently started yoga, or for those who have a regular yoga practice and would like to gain a deeper understanding and refine their practice.

£25 per person. Please bring with you some water, a pen, and a notebook if you’d like to make notes.

A £5 deposit is required to book your space. Spaces are limited.

Yoga Tip

Different yoga poses influence your digestive system, so try not to eat a large meal up to 1 - 2 hours before your lesson.

 

Yoga Mats

If you have your own yoga mat please bring it with you to class. If not, don't worry mats as are provided at all classes and locations.

At Your Location

A private yoga class can help you improve your practice by giving you individual attention and sessions will be tailored to suit your needs. Whether you prefer the privacy of a 1-1 or if are too busy to attend classes, private sessions give you the ability to progress at your own pace.

Classes run for either 60 or 90 minutes and they are can be in the comfort of your own home or at a suitable location.

3 x classes – £95 (60 minutes)  

6 x classes – £180 (60 minutes)

Corporate Yoga

If your business is interested in increasing your employees wellness then Corporate Yoga classes are a great way to bring stress reduction to your workplace. 

These classes focus on gentle movements designed to help those who may spend the majority of the workday sitting down, as well as deep breathing and meditation practices to calm and rest the mind. All of this together contributes to happiness, contentment, and overall wellness.

Additionally this practice will improve attendance, focus, productivity, and building mindful working relationships.

Classes can be arranged for early mornings, lunchtimes, or after work.
